Enjoy this trendy spicy twist on a classic Paloma cocktail. A typical Paloma uses tequila, but we’ve opted for agave spirit. Where tequila only comes from the Mexican state of Jalisco, agave spirit is a distilled liquor with similar characteristics (made from the sap extracted from the blue agave plant) that can be produced anywhere else (i.e. a “tequila” that is produced outside of Jalisco). It has a smooth, clean taste that is sweeter than most alcohols. The hot red chili aroma and agave nectar are paired with lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice, and agave syrup – this is a refreshing summer drink and a flavor party!
